The People's Bank of China and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange raises the macro-prudential adjustment parameter for cross-border financing
In order to further improve the macro-prudential management of cross-border financing, continue to expand enterprises and financial institutions’ funding sources, and guide them to optimize their asset-liability structure, the People's Bank of China and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange decided to raise the macro-prudential adjustment parameter for cross-border financing for enterprises and financial institutions from 1.25 to 1.5, which will come into effect on July 20, 2023.
